From one-off single wire assemblies to high volume complex harnesses, we provide high quality, bespoke products and solutions across a wide range of markets.
Our specialist and dedicated team have over 8 years’ experience in designing and producing bespoke products.
All our harnesses are made in house in our dedicated workshops, this enables flexibility to adapt to our customer requirements.
OE Lighting accounts with Bosch, Hella, Rubbolite, Britax, LED Autolamps, Ecco Group and much more, we really can meet your lighting requirements.
Reduction in build and design hours, bulk purchasing of components and a good industry knowledge enables cost savings to be passed on.
Tec-Stop wiring enable a ‘plug and play’ system to increase efficiency on the production line and increase production, as well as ‘Just in time (JIT)’ scheduled deliveries so you only get the products when you need them, aiding with cash flow. This also enables internal resources to be directed elsewhere. Tec-Stop wiring aims to become an integral part of your business and build and grow with you.
Tec-stop wiring aim to provide a fixed cost of manufacture regardless of demand.
We can scale our production to your requirements from one-off orders to large volumes to suit your schedule. We work closely with our clients throughout the process to design and develop efficient products that meet their exact requirements. Here’s our process:
Our first point of call is to understand your requirements and take all the on-site measurements that are necessary. Our specialist in-house team will then design and draw up a solution to meet your needs.
Once the designs have been sketched, we’ll work up computer designs to develop a wiring diagram and execute continuity testing prior to sourcing all the components. This is the most time and cost effective method before developing a prototype.
We’ll create a one-off prototype to test the solution. Our in-house team will test the prototype on the line before testing the prototype for compatibility with the original specification and product. Modifications will be made to the prototype throughout the process to ensure there are no faults and it effectively delivers the required solution.
Once the prototype has been approved, we’ll manufacture the product to small or large scale production dependent on your requirements and deliver straight to your door. We can also work to Just in Time (JIT) production methods to ensure there is no halt to your production line.
Our client came to us with a problem – the original manufacture had discontinued the original product and the harness had missing and broken wires.
The first step was for our team of experts was to develop a new diagram by looking for historic wiring diagrams and by identifying broken patterns within the existing wiring.
From this, we created a new drawing and made an on-site visit to check the compatibility with historic diagrams. Once the customer was happy with the quotation and the initials drawings, we created a new harness and we were able to successfully deliver within a week – just in time for a truck show!
Our client needed a bespoke solution for their vehicle – the Hooka pick and carry crane. We worked closely with the client to research the development of a full electric control box and harness. We spent a week with their team, developing a bespoke solution and fitting the new ignition to the Honda engine to carry out testing.
Once the machine was successfully working, we dismantled the machine, documented and created formal diagrams and drawings of the development. The end result – a well-documented solution and the successful batch manufacture and delivery of five units.
Tec-Stop wiring’s approach is second to none, we feel that they really have our best interests at heart. The initial contact was quick, professional, and we got the product we wanted. The after service has also been good with Sam from tec-stop wiring going out to do repair on one of the trucks.
As a specialist in agriculture seed-drills, our lighting and control system is far from simple, tec-stop came on board from the beginning, and we have used them for the last six years. The design has often evolved and we have always been able to make it work sometime very last minute.
Our company started in 2015 manufacturing a range of Electric bikes, we worked with tec-stop from the start to design and manufacture the lighting and the drive gear. We have a specific requirement of tinning all connections as our customer insists on this. Andy at tec-stop was able to accommodate this particular requirement to help fulfil our needs.
